A country restaurant where good food is offered by very friendly managers

One Friday evening, my family and I, super passionate about good food, decided to try the iconic trattoria da Renata. You think we're foolish, we live 10 minutes away and we've never been there in our entire lives. Maybe because we always tend to look for places away from routine when instead we have excellent trattorias or restaurants with excellent food before our eyes.Eh!! So it was, seasonal menus (our favourites) this time Montagnini (pizzoccheri, sciatt etc...) we love mountain food but finding it in today's restaurants is not easy and instead in this magnificent trattoria we found it.What can I say.... I even ate the dish.CRAZY Slobs!!! I would eat a quintal of them, stringy, hot, delicious dough but above all dry, without even a drizzle of frying oil.Pizzoccheri, don't be fooled by the rectangular dish, it seems small but I almost struggled to finish it, it must have been no less than 400g of pasta. Nice and cheesy as I like them Homemade desserts, I won't even tell you.Super fast service and lovely owners.Fair prices!!Thanks for the great food and the wonderful evening. See you next time

Great, a real Trattoria. Outside under a roof on stilts. Friendly people. Even the flower pots looked neatly maintained and fresh. Extensive meal, starter tagliatelle with porcini, main course, fish mix from the lake.An address where we will return.

This evening, although I arrived at the end of service time and mostly on a day before a holiday (14 August), Mr Valerio welcomed me, first serving me some excellent marinated fish, and then some excellent gnocchi with walnut and nettle sauce. The quality-price ratio is excellent and I am happy that trattorias with this service, quality and hospitality still exist.

Very nice place, clean and welcoming, the waitresses were kind and quick, the food was excellent, not to mention the price..... Super convenient. We had a Valtellina dinner with tastings of all the specialties of Valtellina, which I was unable to finish, and spent very little. It's one of those places where you eat well and pay little. It has ample parking, even for trucks, and is accessible to everyone, even disabled people. If you want to have a nice, quiet evening, I highly recommend it!
